Terms and Conditions
Shipping & Handling Charges
All items are shipped via ground freight , the carrier depends on the manufacturer's
shipping contract.  Due to the weight, size and fragility of many of our items they are
shipped via common carrier trucking.  On these large items you will need to have someone
available to receive the item when it arrives via common carrier trucking.  Shipping and
handling charges are calculated at the time of your order.  On most orders it will appear on
your checkout page.  However, due to weight and oversize proportions on some item we
will notify you after your order is placed with shipping charges.  The items that do not
include shipping charges are clearly noted on the store pages, Sunglo Greenhouses and
Metal Animal Sculptures,. These shipping charges are based on the weight, dimensions of
the item and zip code of the purchaser.  If you would like the shipping charge before

1-866-378-7677.   On shipments to Alaska and Hawaii and other areas outside the
contiguous 48 states additional charges will apply and we will contact you with the
additional charges.

Delivery
Many of our products are shipped direct from the manufacturer or distributor. Please allow
7 to 10 days for delivery for most items. During peak seasons some items might take
longer. Also, some larger items require a longer delivery time. If faster delivery is desired
please contact our customer service department. We can arrange express delivery for an
additional charge and we can also check expected shipping times.

Damaged or Missing Goods
Mount Shasta General Store wants you to be happy with your order.
If  you received the wrong item or an item you didn't order we will correct any error that
we have made.
If you received an order with a missing, damaged or defective item we will replace it free
of charge if notified within
10 DAYS.
We strongly advise that the buyer carefully inspect all boxes, crates, etc. and note any
damage on the bill before signing for your shipment. If there is a discrepancy between the
number of units (boxes, pallets, etc.) indicated on the bill and what is actually received,
write the number of missing boxes on your copy and the driver's copy of the receipt, and
have the driver sign both copies.

In some instances the buyer must file the claim with the carrier if the carrier fails to deliver
the goods complete and in good condition.  If you would like assistance with filing your
claim we will be happy to furnish advice upon the buyer's request.  Buyers that refuse a
shipment without first contacting Mount Shasta General Store customer service may be
subject to additional charges for reshipping the order.

Returns
We have a 30 DAY RETURN POLICY FROM DATE OF SHIPPING.  Returned products must be
in original condition. This includes original packaging material, manuals, and all other
accessories provided by the manufacturer.  Also please include a copy of your invoice.
All returned items need a RMA#. Contact us for the RMA# and the shipping address. Items
will not be accepted without the RMA# and proper addressing.
Make sure your return item is insured and you provide us with the tracking numbers.

Return Shipping Charges
If the return is due to a defective item or damages suffered in transit we will be
responsible for return shipping charges.  If the return is not from a manufacturers defect,
damage in transit, or the result of our error you will be responsible for return shipping
charges, as well as, the costs we incurred shipping to you. The original shipping costs of
that returned item will be deducted from the refund. Products where shipping is included in
the price will have the actual shipping charges deducted from the refund. Shipping charges
to the customer for the items being returned, will have the shipping costs we incurred
shipping to you deducted from your refund as well as return shipping charges. COD
packages are not accepted.

Drop Ship Return Fee
All drop shipped items have a 10% to 20% restocking fee, depending on the fee we are
charged for the returned item.  We are charged a restocking fee by our distributors and
manufacturer's, so unfortunately we must pass it on to you.  All return shipping cost will
be the responsibility of the customer, COD packages are not accepted. There is no
restocking fee for merchandise you receive that is damaged in transit or has manufacturers
defects or has not been drop shipped.

All returns require an RMA number, and some items need to be shipped directly to the
warehouse.

Sales Tax
Sales tax will be added on all orders shipped  to California.
